Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: 19.06.2025
Last Updated: 19.06.2025
Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Juris Protocol platform and related services.
By accessing or using Juris Protocol’s website, applications, or services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility and Jurisdiction
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use the Platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform complies with the laws and regulations of your local jurisdiction.
Some services may not be available or may be restricted in certain regions due to regulatory or legal limitations.
2. Nature of Services
Juris Protocol is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that enables users to interact with smart contracts for purposes such as:
- Staking the $JURIS token
- Participating in protocol governance
- Lending and borrowing digital assets
- Engaging in liquidation markets
- Bridging assets across blockchains
These services are non-custodial and self-directed; users retain control of their digital wallets at all times.
3. No Custodial Responsibility
Juris Protocol does not hold or control user funds. All transactions are performed on-chain, and users are solely responsible for managing their own private keys, wallets, and backup methods. Juris cannot recover lost keys or access lost funds.
4. Risks and Disclaimers
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Smart contracts carry inherent risk, including potential bugs or vulnerabilities. While Juris smart contracts are audited, no guarantee is provided.
- Price volatility of digital assets can result in significant financial loss.
- Staking positions may involve lock-up periods and unredeemable durations.
- Juris does not guarantee any yield, APR, or price performance of any asset.
- You should conduct your own due diligence and consult with a financial advisor before engaging in any activity on the platform.
5. No Financial or Legal Advice
All information provided by Juris Protocol—including but not limited to tutorials, APR projections, or governance materials—is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice.
6. User Responsibilities
Users agree not to:
- Use the Platform for unlawful purposes (e.g., money laundering, terrorist financing, or fraud).
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform’s functionality or its smart contracts.
- Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
Juris reserves the right to restrict access to the Platform if you are found to be in violation of these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, and content presented on the Platform are the property of Juris Protocol or its licensors. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use any part of the Platform for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Juris Protocol and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with:
- The use or inability to use the Platform
- Smart contract failures
- Security incidents
- Errors in displayed data
9. Modifications
Juris Protocol may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
